Speed slow again today. Running at +- 50% of line capacity :(

Tonight my ADSL will be used for WoW... but my poor Afrihost Mobile will be pulling the Windows 8.1 ISO... I see a clean install of Windows in my future tomorrow (and also a clean install of Server 2012 on my server).

I see that a fault has already been locked on your line. Your SNR and Attenuation figures are not good and your exchange is also congested. We'll see what we can do.

Kongwane: If you line is with Telkom and you kick up enough of a fuss you will get a call from the technician for your area, I suggest getting his number and asking him to see if there is maybe an issue with your DSLAM or if there is a chance to get you moved to another exchange. My local techie is awesome, he did so much work and then realised it was my router. I spent the money and realised he was right. My new policy is to make sure I have Coke or a beer in teh fridge for them as a thank you for the work they do.

I used to do 100MB a month. Now I've already klapped 5GB this month. Where does it go? No idea. Once you open the door, it can never be closed again ;)

When I started at Afrihost in 2009 I was content with 3GB of cap a month (and rarely finished it)
Need I say more?
