Afrihost cancellation (6 months query)

Hey guys,

Does anyone know for sure what Afrihost's policy is on cancellation of a product with the free router?

I signed up on the 13th of December. If I cancel on the 20th of June do I still have to pay for the free router? Afrihost chat says I won't pay, Afrihost support email says I will pay. So how am I supposed to know which one is true. Thanks
 
According to their T+Cs no. It's now yours and you can cancel at your leisure.

As long as it's more than six months since your sign up date, you should be able to cancel without penalties :)

Should?

The T+C's are very clear. After 6 mnths the router becomes yours...

Hi Afriman,

Thanks for the feedback. However, are we talking days or calendar months? So if I signed up on the 13th of December, looking at days, anytime after the 20th or so of June should be fine. If we're looking at months then you would think I can only cancel from the 1st of July onwards.
 
Had a whatsapp chat with them yesterday regarding, apparently if they see on their side that the router is listed as "free" then it's yours.

But then we know with service providers that anything is possible.

As far as I understand it's days from signup. So if you signed up on the 14, you should be able to cancel on the 15th 6 months later.
