Afrihost Capped ADSL Feedback (MTN) - New beginning

Are you downloading a release copy of Windows 10 or is it updating from a pre-release copy?
 
Get 3-4MB/s on the test network but I only have the test network on a small Afrihost account. Can't afford my main account being locked to a test network.
 
One of my customers today have had enough it would seem. Goodbye Afrihost to 717GB (1434GB double data) of capped data accounts per month, 1x Business Uncapped account and 2x Uncapped Accounts. Unfortunate that they have to pay for another month of Afrihost because they missed the cutoff but the accounts are now cancelled and hopefully the new ISP (who will remain nameless) will appreciate the business more (Now 1.5TB purchased)

Perhaps try and arrange for a credit on the account so they don't have the pain of having to pay for August - its a grudge thing now. Bare in mind they have still have 5x Mobile 10GB and 2x Mobile 3GB accounts still with you.
 
I cancelled as well. Maybe be back when they sort themselves out.

Perhaps they need to lose enough customers to reduce demand and stabilise their network, you're welcome AH.

AfriGuy, my ADSL line is not connecting since this morning. Check your pm for details.

Also they say this package is 'unshaped', implying the smaller package may be shaped at times. I think this is the problem I'm having with Afrihost but they won't admit it.

That's definitely not the case, our Capped and Business accounts are not subject to any shaping. They're completely unshaped.
 
Speeds feel like the good old days. Can still hear that modem sound back from the 90's...

Edit: This is a 10Mb line that comfortably delivers 5mbps most of the time...
