So - no line sync this morning. WTF?!

AYP-149-52844

25 minutes to speak to a consultant!!!

From **** service to no service.

Can you clarify are your POC's running on the current network or are they a separate network?
We are getting conflicting statements here which are adding to the confusion.

Or did you choose to coin a silly acronym like POC (Proof of concept, I guess) to deliberately mislead and confuse again?
in short, is it a new network or new accounts on the MTN network?

It'll be on two separate networks.
Gian goes into much more detail in his thread, I'm sure you're read through it.

Sorry about that :(
I've run a check on your line and can't see any sync at all coming from the exchange/ router.

Do you have any dialtone on your voice line?

gain never actualy stated that it was separate networks.
I did pose the question but he has not responded to it so was hoping, as you did, thanks for that, you would be able to do so.

If it is a separate network I will stick around and test it. Having had to keep two accounts open this long I may as well continue to do so. Reliable Internet access is worth a lot more than the cost of maintaining two accounts, it just gets annoying at the end of the month when 2 bills arrive for the same service :)

Guess I'll be spending more money to use another ISP this month :(

Not sure what the status is after the POC announcements etc, but does that mean AH users will have to make-do with the existing mess until the 'big, imminent, too good to be true' launch happens?

Not looking great at all :( I promise you, we're working hard on providing the best possible experience now - as well as working on the POCs for testing and implementation.

So you have doubled your staff?

Just a jibe, but it not at all possible to take on a project of that magnitude and still be offering a higher level of support to fix the existing network.

Consider it a rhetorical question..

I think running with the POC and maintaining our current network is more than feasible, and we're doing it :)

Many here would beg to differ looking at the speed test results at this time of day, mid week. They are worse than peek time problems of the previous weeks.

Again, an overall fix for this is what's been discussed at length here this week.
So you can look forward to those changes.
