We are definitely working on this and our top priority is to improve every client's performance to the best of our ability.

While winning ISP of the Year is a great honour, it's also something that we need to live up to constantly, and that is definitely a standard we want to maintain and continually improve on. I do believe we will see improvement and we will see client's get the performance they expect.

Still unable to game on non-local servers. Sorry Afriman, but it feels like we're in the group getting the placebo solutions rather than the real ones.

Seems that there is an undocumented methodology for changing bundled packages which I was not aware off, and which your support people did not follow either ?

For some reason the system believed that you were on the package already, so it was allowing the package change. I think it's a once off, because we have several thousand clients on Capped Bundles changing their package often :(

I think we're still seeing issues in our traffic management this morning, so it may affect performance until we normalise things :(

Quite a few guys on SAGamer are also battling with Afrihost disconnects. The one guy in our team for Vault of Glass who is on Afrihost was the only one being kicked last night.

I am very sorry, but I have long passed any point where I could believe you. Nothing personal Afriman, you are just doing as you are instructed, but Afrihost has gone to the dogs.

Your service is suppose to be "UNSHAPED", so you are actually lying and dishonest. WOW I've had it with you guys. I DEMAND a refund, so that I can move to another ISP immediately.

Gaming is supposed to receive high priority and i'm on a capped account so to me this makes zero sense and I pay an arm and a leg to be on afrihost every night a gaming connection issue this has been going on for 2 weeks now

I think I may not have been clear here. Traffic policies run the overall network management on the network. Even though Capped is not shaped, if Uncapped is not shaped as effectively as it should be, then overall contention will affect services. So it's very important that we ensure these policies are working correctly.

We'll definitely need to look into this. If the account itself is disconnecting, then we'll need to see why that could be. If it's the game disconnecting them, it may be due to latency. We'll need to see the errors and go from there :(

Gaming is definitely given priority on the network in general, and should not be affected by any shaping as Capped is unshaped.

The account itself does not disconnect, the game loses connection to the servers. If you say that Gaming is prioritised, is this to local only or international servers as well?

On Battlefield 4 specifically, it uses different TCP/UDP ports for each platform (PC, PS3, PS4, XBOX360 and XBox1), are you sure all these ports are given realtime priority? And not even tlkaing about the thousands of other games, how can Afrihost generalise this comment? If you are doing this and we still experience packet loss they way we are then MTN has more problems than we thought!

On the PS4 I can do a full test on latency and packet loss to the specific server I'm connected to.

Please stop saying "Capped is unshaped". It's a total lie and you know it. If I did this in the business I'm in I'd be out of a job in no time.
