Hello. Is there currently issues with Afrihost? I can't download any of my series, it doesn't even want to start! I can browse FB and stuff, but no series wants to download. I hope I am not being throttled. I am on a capped account, have 100g per month and atm I have only used 20 gig, so I have 80 left.

Please can someone fix it!!

experiencing the same. very frustrating

Hmm. I phoned telkom earlier, all is ok. Speedtest is perfect, yet, I can't download. I think we are being throttled :(

@Afriman Im still waiting...

Your attention to my matter is pathetic. Afrihost slipping by the day in my books.

Ok, it is DEFINITELY Afrihost. I changed my account to my Fnb connect account, and BAM, I am flying!! Why can't Afrihost reply!?

I've asked AfriMan to follow up on the PM. You're more than welcome to PM me too, looks like our last conversation has been wrapped up already.

I have 2 days ETA on a 160MB torrent, meanwhile I can stream it at HD quality online...

Someone screwed up again.

Meanwhile... "Our DSL Broadband network is running like a bomb! Everything is copacetic and we’re good to GO!". Haha. Ha. Ha.

Yip...Torrents are being shaped to the ground...

but yet speedtest shows this...

And Current Torrent speeds...dead

And just in case you cant see, the graph display is in kbs on the left with the highest being 3.
Explain again how this does not represent shaping?

What i want to know is why am I being shaped when i clearly pay for unshaped?

@afriguy, is capped accounts subject to shaping? I was always under the impression that capped was unshaped 24/7.

If you not shaping us, could you explain why our p2p downloads are getting so poor speeds

Exactly the same is happening on the business environment and also not shaped... Well that is what they are trying to feed us. But I think we all know better by now.
