Afrihost CAPPED ADSL Feedback (MTN)

Just me with yet another update.

We are restarting the Network Management Software, so for the next few minutes you will probably experience significant variances in your speeds until it is fully up again.
 
I just got hold of our Telkom Service Manager, that means that you are still being moved from the ADSL2+ to VDSL Circuit, you should have VDSL access in the next few hours.

If that is the case, then all is forgiven.

Is the restart complete? I'm barely getting 1Mbps on my 20mb line. Wierda park / Eldoraigne area in Centurion. Been 2 days now.

It looks like the Network Management Software is now coming back, your speeds should start improving, you may need to restart your modem for the new resource pool to take affect.
 
did some testing.

Local is great, international is still shocking...

Local = 10mb
Int = 2mb

This should be normalising - could you test again in 20 mins or so please?

Wow my ping in BF3/4 just rocketed to over 500ms. nice

Cant even stream a 480P youtube clip on my 40Mbps VDSL line

Getting Worse the more I test
