A little part of me just died. I signed up at WA and for the 1st time i am able to watch streams on high...

I still hold out that you guys can come right and ill continue testing in hope. But ill be honest gents, if things arent sorted by the end of this bill run...*sniff*
 
My speeds are erratic again ... Stability adjustments and sra modem settings what should these be. My line is a perfect line according to Telkom test
 
You are correct, but the Network Availability does not indicate whether or not there enough 40Mbps ports available at the moment, or if the line itself can handle 40Mbps.

True hence why I asked the guy who installed my line to test it specifically for that before I ordered.

He did and reassured me it will work.

But nevermind most important problem now is my internet is off.


I am going to be one difficult customer if you take my internet a hour before the weekend starts .

I just reset your Capped account from my side, I am checking to see that it is coming up in the next few minutes.

I am now picking up an active connection on your Capped account, it does look to be sending and receiving packets.

Your attenuation definitely isn't 0. Just going with 13dB down SNR on 15Mbit ADSL2+ you can see it will be tight :)
Anything is possible though!

Yea I know not the best.

But lets see what happens this is a brand new line. Heck Ive had some funny things that just should not work but then it does.

Do I'm going to just close my eyes and hope for the best.

Jhb looks a bit slow but International is great.
Cold and wet out but warm and good line speed inside.
I see an evening of Videos coming up.

I'm going to outline why streaming on your account has always been broken for me and how you've broken youtube the same for me since you've done these upgrades.

As you can see speed test shows everything is A OK. Thank you for finally fixing it, now please don't touch anything :P

This is my network meter showing my throughput during this speed test:

This is me trying to watch a youtube video and the reading my network meter gives me:

That right there is why I have never been able to stream anything over AH for all 3 years I've been with you. Be it twitch, hulu, netflix anything. It never used to affect youtube but now sadly it's kicked in.

This result is the same youtube vid on my backup telkom account:

Yes I have restarted my router many times. Sorry for the long winded post just it's frustrated me no end not being able to stream at all and now it needs to be fixed that youtube is being affected.

Just for consistency here is the speedtest on my telkom account:

Our international speeds are still slightly wonky at the moment, as soon as the network management software is running at full nick again, you will see Youtube improve immediately. I would probably expect that to improve in the next hour or so.

That doesn't explain why it's always been a problem for me with other streaming services.
