Guys remember that you will need a DSL filter, even if your line is digital, my lines latency has finally decreased. I got one today:)

Downloading an Itunes movie at 900kB/s while some members in house are paying LoL and WoW without lag.
Good work and thanks for fixing the issues, hope this continues even in peak time and if it doesn't I see that your CEO has commented that the South is still getting an/more of an IPC upgrade on the news article.

Only if you have some phones connected to the line. You can also test if it is your filter acting up by disconnecting everything and plugging the router straight into the wall.

More IPC is on the way indeed, no confirmed dates as yet though - although I'd expect it'll be after the Telkom freeze period is over in early 2015.

I don't have a phone without the filter my latency was 200 to 500+ with it installed now 16ms to Rosebank

In future tell your clients that they need a filter even if their line is digital (filter on exchange) like mine.

POTS filters come with all of our routers, and should come included in others too. It's good practise to have them installed :)

Ag nee man... Wat gaan nou aan? Was fine vir ñ week or meer nou weer die...

almost 1/40th of line speed

That is strange... How are your current latencies to the US streaming site?

Looking at that it may well not be a USA server

I will test the working stream and post

YouTube is shot again.
Speedtest fine. Traceroutes fine. Stream only reliable at 360p without buffering on 6mbit line :-(

OK, now I am stomped, different servers same route :)

I guess there is redirection at the server level that we are not seeing.

^^ Yup. YouTube=bufferfest tonight. Browsing, downloads and speedtest etc. are all fine, just streaming sucks.

My own Youtube connection at the office is stuttering and buffering at anything higher than 360p, and I have access to some significant bandwidth.

Could you try run a traceroute to it and see if there are any jumps in latency.
