Afrihost CAPPED ADSL Feedback (MTN)

Still no throughput on Netflix. I can't even get to browse the shows.

I switch accounts and its instant on. Im testing this on a 4mb line. My uncapped WA account is only 2mb and it runs smoothly.

Had the exact same issue last night. at home i'm running 10mb A/H and cant browse netflix.

Do you still have my Test Account Details on-hand? Would it be possible to use that account and to see if that makes any difference.

Sorry no i dont have those details. Only my WA, AH and Axxess accounts.

Afrigenie, just to let you know that another Telco is requesting a quote for data, they are attacking the SME market

Pings are much better now on speed test. Will test gaming now now.
 
Another night and once again Afrihost has packet loss all over the place TS servers from EU sound like robots and well lol EUW tracert speaks for iteself:

EDIT : So I tried a match on Afrihost then Web Africa. Afrihost just has MASSiVE spikes because of packet loss and eventualy just dropped connection completly I then switched ISP and had my usual 170~ MS and 0 packet loss.

WTF man!! Cannot get onto Google or Youtube, but other sites seem oke. Bittorrent is slow as ****. Logged the second hop issue with support, but think this is something telkom related, but the below? Seriously!

So I have a 4 mbps adsl line with data from telkom. When this data is used, I change to Afrihost 20+ 20 GB capped package. The speeds on Afrihost seems erratic and not as stable as Telkom internet. When I stream on Telkom, no issues, on Afrihost lots of buffering. Even email downloads take longer...

Anyone having issues with Afrihost

It looks like the updates and changes we've made are showing some improvement! We're not quite done yet, so I think you should continue to see some improve yet!
