There shouldn't be anything causing this from our end, do you perhaps have a few comparative traceroutes I can look at? I'd like to see where the additional latency is coming in.

It seems to have sorted itself out. Thanks anyway.

So the methodology akin to that which you use to trouble shoot issues in thread here is all of a sudden inadequate. Listen up Afriman, if jitter to your local access network is on the order of 5ms and after your breakout in the EU one starts seeing jitter on the order of 50ms and more (let's say 90th percentile), what conclusion do you make? You're big enough to rubbish my analysis here, so what do you make of the performance to EU yesterday and the intermittent packet loss to EU servers that more than a few gamers have noted the last few weeks? Or that single stream performance is consistently sub-par compared to your competition? Please propose your diagnosis?

Your experience mirrors mine, today is much better, though latency is a bit higher than average. The intermittent issues are getting annoying and I'd like to know whether there is a known root cause.

Like I said, focus on your individual experience, and I can comment based on my knowledge gained from other sources.

We can't recreate any significant jitter or latency increases on our bandwidth so we have to assume that this is being experienced on an individual basis. We need to troubleshoot with affected clients to look for commonalities, whether it's geographic, DNS or related to other common factors. Even if this were a network issue, we're not going to find a solution through generalisations. We need specific, focussed tests that are replicable to isolate any issue.

It's not my intention to rubbish your experience or feedback, but I think you must concede that you take a very confrontational stance in this post and others. If you are interested in finding a solution, we can find a way to improve your individual experience if we work together. And then leave it to me to do the same with others who are having a poor experience.

Lol, taking too long to finish my cap

Anybody else found that since yesterday Twitch just wont stream at medium or high?

Afriman, you'll notice that when you're forthcoming with information there is no need to take a hard stance. If you tell me that your organization's policies don't allow you to comment, that is fair answer as well.

Try a german news site: http://www.welt.de/sport/fussball/w...lands-Weltmeister-sind-absolute-Giganten.html

Streaming <1mbps with buffering from time to time. IS accounts have no issues with this what so ever.

Have your son use a free WA account and set up a PPPoE connection with your router in half bridge mode if possible. His pings will improve but more importantly the sporadic packet loss and jitter (when the pipes that feed you get congested and some packets arrive later by some margin) isn't an issue meaning less rubber banding and glitching.

I got an wa account and changed the username and password on the router but could not connect....

Adding to those with problems.
Twitch.tv has been unwatchable the last 2-3 days. It constantly stops and lags, even on "mobile" quality, however "Source" quality streams just fine on WA.

Please fix!

I've got zero issues watching Twitch on my line (8Mb atm).

Before I sign up for a large capped account I need to know if these speeds are normal on a 4mb line:

That's uncapped? Probably normal depending on the time of day/etc
let me test on my 10Mbps capped line.

*EDIT*
10Mbps capped account:
8.xMbps down, 700K+ up. Sorry - I was remoted in to my server and it wouldn't copy the link to my local clipboard for some reason.
Have you tested with a free 1Gb capped account yet?
