Aquiva, my apologies, but which game is that? I am unable to identify it via the screenshot.
Are you currently running any other services in the background or on any other devices?

How can I make that statement without knowing where you are connecting from? The only information you have given me to work with is a speedtest. There very well may be increased demand in your region, or your ADSL MSAN could also just as easily be congested. You need to at least provide me with some information for me to be able to find out what is wrong.
Can you guys please keep an eye on your in-game latency, from what I can see, we should not be seeing any runaway latency spikes.
I believe I am in the north.
Ag, it must just be contention, too many clients and not enough bandwidth to serve everyone.
Switched over to test IS and SAIX based accounts to confirm and its confirmed.
I'll just put it down to poor provisioning.
About getting only 5% of what i usually do, but 100% before 8am, where can I find your demand-management policy documentation for capped accounts?
Is it the same as MTN these days perhaps?
Is it called shaping or throttling or maybe an unforeseeable spike in demand?
I just can't seem to find the literature.
The Capped accounts are completely unshaped, however, with our current issues, there is simply not enough bandwidth at times for all services to run as they should. We are not selectively throttling or shaping anything on the Capped accounts, it does unfortunately result in some degree of contention amongst our Capped users, which we try to minimize as much as possible.
95% is a large degree. A very large degree in my book.
Are we contending with your mobile offerings?
Capped bundled account horrendous YouTube streaming... Am in fourways... Browsing is also slow
I just made a tweak to your account, and reset your line, can you restart your modem and test again.
Our Moble Data packages runs on a completely separate network, the Mobile Data runs in parallel with MTN's cellular network.
From what I have previously seen the accounts should not be affected to that degree.

I just want to elobrate on AfriGuy's answer here. Mobile Data and DSL are distinctly different in the DSL runs on Telkom's infrastructure. In order to break out of their network, we need IPC, which is what we're talking about when we mention DSL capacity (which may actually be confusing). Telkom owns the IPC and we basically rent it from them to allow us to break traffic out of their network and onto MTN's national fibre network. Mobile Data access MTN's tower's directly, so there is no IPC limitation at all.
Mobile Data usage will in no way affect IPC, and by extension the contention we refer to, since we're exclusively referring to the rate at which DSL traffic can break out of Telkom's network.
