Can I ask that you guys quickly run a traceroute to Afrihost.com and then Google.com, I just need to see where the latency is increasing.

Another quick update, the performance issue to Youtube appears to have been resolved, all the routing is now going to the correct servers in South Africa.

Thanks to giggity for taking the time to test with me and posting that very useful tutorial.

Netflix streaming is reaching craptacular levels on my Afri account, as well as on the free gig Axxess account.

Switched to Telkom account. No problems whatsoever.

Telkom has indicated that they are working on restoring the IPC link as quickly as possible, MTN is getting all the important people involved in this as well.
