Have you guys looked at the web Africa thread. Lots of people saying YouTube not streaming well. Perhaps there is a larger issue with Telkom or even Google.

Im getting the exact same issue ... Also failing to automatically login into origin or uplay but after some attempts it logs on ... The woes at aftihost never seem to cease

We have done testing with many many of our users, and this specific case with Youtube is definitely not that widespread, as things stand now, the rest of the network is performing pretty well.

Actually I wasn't alluding specifically to the You Tube issue but to the constantly recurring problems that you guys have since your link up with MTN and explosion in additional clients.
This has led to a very degraded service and as a 10Mbps ADSL capped client in Cape Town who has for the past few weeks had short periods of awesome service which has reminded me as to what it should consistently be, as this is what we pay for, after all, only to have long periods of poor streaming with constant buffering when using your network, I have to say that you guys should really take stock and get some qualified people in who can fix your problems.
It is clear that the current people are just not cutting it.

Currently buffering on 240p

All videos been testing the whole day, still busy.


( But look I made a massive fcking scene few weeks ago to a point where I pisssed of some other forum members, so I'm not going to say/complain this time)

Ended up throwing my toys too hard the last time acting like a d!ck.

Not my best moment. So now I just wait it out looking for alternatives, but with lovely double data AF has me by the balls so I can't leave.

@Thor, Why not offer to let AH use your PC as a temporary stand in for the Google Cache. After all it probably has most of the Internet on it by now, you have had the Lightning to go with your Thunder for a few weeks now :)
