Hi guys. Anyone here who switched their ADSL access from Telkom to Afrihost and how long did you wait?

Our data packages are available immediately. The migration of your line really depends on how soon Telkom can move your line into the wholesale holding pool. Once in the pool, our system will be able to poll it quickly.

The packet loss lasted for about 15 minutes, and was only on your network. My other ISP accounts were not affected. You can pass on the traceroute and timestamps to the NOC team, but I'm not getting involved in troubleshooting for you guys anymore. It's a pitty it's come to this, but honestly the only good thing about Afrihost is you & Afriman - the rest of the consumer facing team leave a lot to be desired.

My Line: 2MB ADSL Line
My Data: 100GB Capped DSL Unshaped Data

I'm looking to save costs (Bundle Line + Data) and potentially optimize my internet - ie: Higher Speed / Less Data

Any suggestions to keep with the ball park of R660 p/m (including telkom costs - ie: phone line)

Why are you paying Telkom so much? Is your DSL line still managed with them? Our 2Mbps 100GB Bundles go for R328 per month. Plus R189 voice line rental brings it to R517. Drop me a PM if you have any questions.

I pay R598 per month for Telkom line and 8mb ADSL.
R99 for 100GB from Afrihost.
Total is R697

How much will a 10mb bundle with 100GB cost me?
