Afrihost Capped DSL Feedback

Speeds are once again rubbish in CPT. Improved for a few hours in the early evening and back down the tubes now. Still waiting for test account details - and I wanted to be sarcastic at this point... but what the hell... does it even help?!??!
The problem is still as it was on my original post yesterday.

Yes, my issue is your network.

Trying to watch a Twitch stream, constant buffering. Not seeing you guys doing enough on your end to fix the issues being brought forward here on the forum.

Switched from VOX (ADSL-FPP-200GB) to my Afrihost Capped DSL Account (10GB Unshaped DSL > 50GB Unshaped DSL)

Speed tests doesn't show it but my vpn connections etc. where just plain horrible.

Seems to be a bit better now.. for 10 mins there it was kinda dead... like my connection was downgraded to junk status

The east is still not 100% but better than most of today. Random latency spikes and packet loss.

just wanted to find out if the option to switch to a 1gb free account still exists?

also are you planning to drop the free 250mb mobile data?

need to figure out what my options are as a low cap user.

Getting weird disconnects all day, affecting Reddit among other sites. Not all international is down, but some, local is still 100%.

Happening right now, anyone else?

The 1-GB Capped account is remaining as is.

You could maybe look at using a PrePaid DSL account, and then only adding data as you need it. You can check out the packages HERE.

Have you been able to try out any other streaming services? How are your overall speeds looking on your connection?

It definitely shouldn't have been poor. Which services weren't running great for you?

It could because you already have a 1-GB Free Account on your profile. If you can PM me your details I'll check quickly for you.

The 1-GB Free Account remains a separate Capped account unless you specifically change the package or cancel it.

If you PM me your details I'll be able to check exactly what's going on.

Just happened again now. ADSL stays up, local is working fine, but international is half down. Back after 2 minutes again

East Rand - packet loss seems to be an issue atm ..... torrents running fine, but gaming is a nightmare.

Anyone else seeing this at the moment (speed tests shows up OK).
