You've got me stumped with that... Have you noticed any change in latency or speeds since then?

Up and Down speeds are still OK (ish) - packet loss is the main problem .... my connectivity still shows that I am not connected via AH and I just noticed .........................

AH.PNG

That my March data disappeared - it did not roll over. Was there a recent change in the policy, because I dont remember seeing any notices

I sent 2 emails during the course of the day and still no reply.
Can someone please reset the exchange or something? I am only able to browse... Can't even play Dota...

Sorry to hear about the long delay here. :( Please PM me your account info and I'll run some resets.

That's strange... Please PM me reminding me of your details and I'll look into this.

Has there been problems on the network the past week or so? Streaming video through yt/twitch and gaming have been unreliable.

You shouldn't be seeing any issues with streaming, so we'll need to figure out why you haven't had a great experience.

Which DNS servers are you using?

What games have been problematic for you? Are you experiencing latency or packet loss to those games?

Are you still seeing that strange latency on your connection this morning?

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - But this is no DNS issue, IP addresses that I can ping when it's working, I can't ping when it's not.

Just happened now again

Did your connectivity drop entirely? If possible could you temporarily switch to our DNS and see if it continues to happen.

Last night I had major problems with the AH account. Browsing was absolutely slow and fb videos were problematic again.

Yip had terribly high latency last night, and Facebook was dog slow.

Is Afrihost ever going to fix the #EveningGate problem??

The east has been horrid the past few evenings. Capacity issues again like MTN???

Is there an option to lower my cap size to 100Gig but increase my line speed to 8 or 10mbps?

:(

I don't think it's a capacity issue, so we definitely need to figure out what's going on. Do you see a spike in latency on your connection as well?

What did your speedtests look like? Which DNS servers are you using?

Using AutoDNS. Speedtests were fine. Switched to Vox and fb videos and browsing was perfect. Seems the KZN region of the AH network is experiencing issues somewhere :(

Yes every evening almost, it goes from 20ms odd to over 200ms odd to all local servers across 12 DSL lines. Switching to my IS or Telkom DSL account and everything is perfect. So 100% congestion on Afrihosts network, nothing else could explain it.
