Afrihost Capped DSL Feedback

Are you seeing any weird latency spikes on a regular trace?
 
I have been reading this thread for the past few nights, and I am also having issues, I F-ing give up now.

And I can say I have seen Zero, Nothing, Nada improvement since the supposed "IPC Upgrades"

At 7/7:30pm to about 10/11pm Afrihost goes south,

Streaming buffers (YouTube, Netflix & Showmax)
International latency goes from about 200ms to about 300ms to the UK
Facebook is so slow, images battle to load, and videos buffer
Email timeouts on Outlook when I send/receive
WhatsApp messages have a Hugh delay
Skype is impossible

But Speedtest shows zero issues full speed and normal local latency.

Switching to my IS based account, and zero issues all the above works without a hitch?

But now I am going to be asked to

Post Trace Routes -> Ping bras.afrihost.com -> do speedtest -> PM my username - > open a ticket -> liaise with 'Critical Care' -> ticket closed due to no feedback from me -> issue persists -> and the cycle starts all over again.

I'm really sorry to hear that your experience has not improved. :( I know that this is a frustrating thing, but we'll have to see more test results in order to pass it onto our Network Team. Please let us know if you experience issues again tonight.
 
Also it's only on afrihost all my isps are fine

Welcome to my world. I haven't even bothered to try game for the last 2 weeks because of the hassles Afrihost provides.

Is it not possible to simply admit IPC overload and say that they're at least working towards a solution instead of screwing over their customers? I have NOT received PROPER service in the last 2-3 months; its embarrassing and disgusting. Shame on you Afrihost- and I pay extra for UNSHAPED capped service....

Our IPC upgrades are already online. :(

If you're seeing latency or packet loss then we need to urgently do some troubleshooting to figure out what's going or what's causing it.
 
Terrible tonight in the East, high international latency. Battling to even stream YouTube. Facebook is touch and go. Using my Telkom account to post this as it takes ages to even open mybb.

EDIT: I think it time to get a whole bunch of test accounts and make a decision, can't carry on like this anymore.

Here are line stats.... browsing and downloading is horribly slow :(

Please let me know what other tests to upload please
