and

got sent to Dell NIGERIA [HUH]

The Nigerians have taken over TELKOM -- because they owe them so much money :erm::D

You are right - I didn't read properly. I still don't want to submit a copy of my ID to some random site on the internet though.

I was wondering about this the other night. (Before Afrihost and WA trial)

I was swapping between two of my accounts and it seemed that I was still using the old one. My usage is also wrong.

I wonder if my router sometimes caches the login details, I once had to restart the router to get it to log in to the other account.

imagine how afrihost feels? some random dude who won't send his ID through. Its then a lose lose situation...

I can bet you that all of us on mybb(that have a afrihost account) have sent our ID's through to afrihost...

So yeah either live with it or go somewhere else.

It takes a big man to admit he made a mistake.

While I would generally agree with you that it is not a good idea to submit your id to some random site, Afrihost is all but random. They are not a new startup or fly-by-night, and you can thank your fellow corrupt SA residents for this requirement to submit your ID.

Seems like every day freedoms are being taken away from us, because someone else ****ed it up for the rest of us.

Ant then there was two.

I really enjoy Afrihosts cheap bandwidth just really upset that when I logged onto my account on the 1st of October at 1am expecting to see 2gigs available I had already used 1.4gigs.

In other words their harcapping policy sucks b@lls. Downloaded a torrent and thought I would be hardcapped at 2gigs ,but in the end I uploaded over a gig to the internet world as my cap was magicly increased by Afrihost. or so I thought.
