Afrihost connectivity issues?

Same here. On Afrihost, Axxess, and even Vox. Most pages load fine, but a few sites (mostly local) take forever to load or don't load at all.

At first I thought it was a DNS issue, but the problem still persists even with Google DNS.

Something is definitely wrong. :(
Booked a fault with webafrica and got s new account. Tried that but problem still persists. Been esculated to Openserve today. I will wait and see what happens.
Strange the ookla speed test is always perfect. Yet if I use fast.com I intermittently get slow speeds of a few k instead of my 100 megs.

I have a dedicated microwave link through IS and Facebook is terrible, seems to be using CDN servers in the UK rather than SA.
YouTube and that seems fine though.

That's something I've noticed with slow loading pages. The eventually get stuck on a CDN address.

For example... cdn.loot.co.za and cdn.afrihost.co.za.

What does that actually mean?

Also no issues with Youtube, and if I use a VPN, all of the problematic pages load fine.

Facebook , Vk very slow still. Youtube a bit better now. ( Telkom , Afrihost )
Changing DNS did nothing.

Afrihost so poked I can even open the support page. Dont think i want to battle with the effort of having them fix it, its been good, but its been too long.

Anyone experiencing connectivity issues - especially loading MyBroadband - from Afrihost?

I'm still getting super slow/intermittent connections to mybroadband and other local websites. I'm on Vox. Switching to Axxess makes no difference.
