Anyone experiencing connectivity issues - especially loading MyBroadband - from Afrihost?

Thanks for the feedback. Is yours also up and down?

yes, it's intermittent. pages don't load, and then they do. traces to various locations are not indicating any packet loss.

Did some quick spot checks

Struggling to access my Azure resources in EU/US

Also South African sites like Bidorbuy/Mybroadband are loading half the time, timeouts rest from Azure EU/US
Something big is up

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like they are experiencing issues - contacted helpdesk, and they are looking into the issue.

Yes, I thought it was my browser (Chrome) that was giving me the ran around.

Update
NAP Africa are still experiencing issues and accordingly we will be diverting traffic (where feasible) along alternate transmission paths.

Update
Fault isolated to NAP Johannesburg. Crystal Web are re-routing client traffic destined for NAP Johannesburg across alternate national routes where such services are available across these routes.

Is Afrihost still having issues? International speeds are all over the place on Afrihost. I've had to resort to streaming music on youtube at 240p just so I can listen to it without buffering.

Is there an undersea cable issue? Because internet on via Vodacom's cell network is just as bad

Same here. On Afrihost, Axxess, and even Vox. Most pages load fine, but a few sites (mostly local) take forever to load or don't load at all.

At first I thought it was a DNS issue, but the problem still persists even with Google DNS.

Something is definitely wrong. :(
