HI, what is the status on this, your website shows orange with not much detail, our servers are down, with hundreds of sites, is there a possibility for an ETA?
 
I hate to break it to you, but this is not their support line ;-) You can't even get support from their official support channels so don't expect any miracles here. I had to deal with them yesterday and they make Telkom support feel like a breeze.
 
Is there a specific reason you use Afrihost for dedicated servers? Why not use a more reputable hosting provider?
 
In the past, servers have being offline 3+ days. There so many negative threads on afrihost in this forum. I recommend moving to somewhere else as soon as you can. I will recommend Hetzner and Hetzner has being recommend nearly every dedicated hosting related thread.
 
Eish, Their response - Yea our technicians are working on it.. How long is it going to take? We aren't sure but they're working on it.. What is the problem? We aren't sure but they're working on it.

Excellent inter department communication there... Just stellar.
 
Hetzner make internet solutions look like kids too... The outage in bryanston Datacenter is in the IS Bryanston Facility. When was the last time anyone heard hetzner ZA go down.... Well, they don't. Mybroadband is hosted there too, so if they did we would all know about it.
 
+1 for Hetzner

and -1 for any Afrihost hosting. Their mobile/dsl data is decent... hosting not so much.
 
erm, yeah i would not recommend hetzner to anyone. We have several trueserv servers hosted with them and have issues on a weekly basis, mostly that they do not know how to manage their network and get ddos attacks upto 4 times a week which brings several of our services down

I was considering getting a couple TruServ's recently?

If you're going to get targeted by DDOS attacks there isn't much you can do about that. Is it your servers being targeted or others in the datacenter?
 
So Afriguys.... Why is our cpanal licences not valid?

I believe that you need to contact your hosting provider to solve this problem. :)
