+1 for Hetzner

and -1 for any Afrihost hosting. Their mobile/dsl data is decent... hosting not so much.

Hetzners service is great, but they're an utter rip off. These guys don't see too bad: http://www.jcwhosting.co.za/hosting_vps.php I've had great support from them.

For international options, Namecheap.com hosting has been pretty solid and their domain registration price are incredibly good. No .co.za unfortunately!
