Afrihost dreadfully slow for anyone else today???

Spell checker malfunktion.

This company are the worst when it comes to support. The absolute worst. It's probably good for them that Peter Cheales thinks they are so great, otherwise maybe they'd put a bit more effort into their support.
 
Running 160Kbps on my 4MB line, I have been using them as a addon to SAOL, but this is pathetic, to think I was considering moving over to them permanently, SAOL is running at 3.3MB, need I say more.

mmm.... On unshaped account and it appears faulty this morning. Usually rock solid... Slow and timeouts this am... International in particular...
 
Well I'm not at home to check this out, but my speeds have returned somewhat to normal lately :/
 
Switched 4096 to uncapped this month... regretting it already, painfully slow and only dloaded like 50 gigs for the month.

At what stage do they start throttling my dloads?
 
I am hosting with Afrihost and the last 3 weeks have been extremely difficult in uploading new pages to the hosting environment, the upload program keeps on time-ing out on simple actions, and when I try to access their website, it takes forever to load, I then test other local and international sites and all seems fine. I have been experiencing the problem from my adsl, 8ta and mtn connections. My friend accessing the same site on cellc has had the same timeouts, when uploading files through ftp, 7 out of 10 times it takes forever and eventually fails, when it does work it only takes a few milli-seconds. Anyone experiencing the same hosting issues lately? It is starting to annoy as it completely stop your progress and speed each time.
 
I'm on a 4mb Afrihost capped account, and it's been incredibly slow the last 2 days... getting max 30kb/s downloads :(

I've got no International traffic on my Afrihost account. Got local, but no International. And I've used 600MB of 3GB. WTF.

You company is dropping the ball, my boy. If you don't want us to start dropping you, you best do something about this.
 
Afrihost problematic today , 29/11. Afrihost beginning to irritate !!! Time for a new ISP :mad:

I'm only getting 0.5mb with a 10mb line... This is not why I went with a capped account!
 
I topped up with some half-priced GBs on my capped account today with the intention of downloading a torrent.

I may as well have not bothered. It is crawling at 0.5 KB/s!!
 
When service issues like this happen I wish I didnt have to loose my Gb's...you know the ones I paid for upfront?!?!!!!!

These capped accounts should roll-over for this reason!
 
I have a 50GB Afrihost account on a 4MB line which is unusable between 3pm and 7pm - including the weekend!
