Updated my 100+100 to 150+150 now.

Nice to see the pro-rata for this month is capped at the promo price of R1. I'm ok with spending R299/month for data. Way better than some silly amount of a "uncapped" account that isnt uncapped!

Hoping the free time keeps going further than just January!!

Afrihost why did you not keep the 18 hours of free data starting at R199pm instead of R299.

Maybe the majority of clients who made use of Freetime cancelled their AfriPlus add-on. Changing the price to R199 p/m will have similar results.

We would have loved to keep the Free-Time in it's current configuration but it wasn't really working out to be feasible for us. The numbers weren't quite what we needed them to be.

Yup, it is unfortunate but you still have some of the most competitive prices with or without Free-Time.

Wasn't it last month they culled the sub-50+50gb accounts and below? Now the 100+100gb accounts are suffering the same fate. Wonder what the threshold will be next month?

I guess I was hoping for something a bit more creative, like having a free time allocation equal to 2 X your ordinary data. A system like that is less open to abuse as well. Oh well, doesn't always work out the way you want it, and the pink T-shirts from vumatel is busy measuring our pavements, so I presume this account is temporary in any case.

Looking at the promo, it still ends end of January 2017, so the accounts for less than R299/month only miss out on a month's free time as I see it. Was looking to sign up, but doing it for 1 and a half month doesn't make it worth the hassle.

I actually e-mailed Gian a similar idea...guess it's not what they wanted.

If I had the R299 capped account I wouldn't need free-time. I was hoping to save some money with the 50+50 but I'll probably have to upgrade to 75+75 or 100+100 next month.
