Afrihost is ending its Free Time ADSL promotion for select customers on 31 December 2016.

I fully agree, upgrade to a larger package if you want Free Time.

This does make sense. No way they making profit with a 1 gig package which use 100 gigs during Free Time.

The R299 refers specifically to the Capped DSL component, so if you are on a 150GB + 150GB Capped account and larger you will get the full Free-Time.

That in itself is awesome and with Afrihost Plus+ I get unlimited music moaaaar datas and stuffs so all good. I don't really need the gigs since I stream some netflix every now and again before bed and that's about it. Cant even deplete my cap let alone use the free time. But the shake up in the market was well overdue and only good things can come from it.

Just remember that you do still get the 00h00 to 08h00 After-Hours data. So that should help a bit.

You just need to be on at least a 150GB + 150GB Capped account, either as a standalone account or part of a Bundle.

Updated my 100+100 to 150+150 now.

Nice to see the pro-rata for this month is capped at the promo price of R1. I'm ok with spending R299/month for data. Way better than some silly amount of a "uncapped" account that isnt uncapped!

Hoping the free time keeps going further than just January!!
