with all the bad experiences that some users have with ISP’s, I thought I would post my experience with changing over from my old ISP to Afrihost.
After 2 years of being with my old provider and numerous problem with online gaming etc, I decided to opt for a new ISP. After some consideration I decided to sign up with Afrihost for a 100/10 package on the frogfoot network. i placed my order on Tuesday 05 April and as it was a new sign up, I expect to wait at least a week for my new router to arrive. I couldn’t have been more wrong, as within an hour of me placing my order, I received a mail stating that my new router had already been setup with my chosen details and that it would be sent via courier within 5 to 7 working days. This was had me concerned, however I received the router the next day!
Upon my old ISP giving notice that they were going to do me a massive favour and release my line, a simple message to Afrinatic later and the request for activation of my line on the Afrihost network was in place.. I honestly wasn’t used to this fast and efficient service.
All in all, in a period of less than 48 hours, I signed up for my new package, received my new router and was migrated over to the Afrihost network. I couldn’t be happier at the momen.
