This does happen on occasion. Closing and re-launching your browser usually fixes this.
It can be due to browser "non-standards" which can misreport the browser to us. We try to cater for the latest releases as best we can.
Just does not give a good impression - you don't want the first thing a customers sees to drive them away - any site with any pop up is a no go for me - ie news24 with there social share crap. Just leaves a bad taste.
Only time a pop like that is valid is if I as user have clicked on something, thus giving explicit permission to pop up - My UI 2 cents of thought
Wow, that was quick. Looks like they fixed it. I got the same error on my freshly compiled Chromium Version 20.0.1132.43 (0) - Just logged in to post a screenshot, only to find that I get no warning message. Love it when a company has developers on standby to do the little things that matter![]()
