International connectivity down
Suspected Seacom issue - unconfirmed at present - awaiting more information.

Well thats what my axxess control panel says.

And Afrihost says
There is a possible International ADSL connectivity problem. Afrihost engineers alongside our upstream service providers' engineers are investigating the cause of the problem. We will post more details here shortly once we have more information.

You'd think the support staff would talk to each other, wouldn't you?
 
If you're on IS or an IS partner you need a prepaid Webafrica account, just like Eskom customers need a portable generator.
 
Google works.. When did that happen?

Never knew they had local systems..
 
Seems to be back up here. Tentative "w00t"... who knows how long it'll last....

Which ISP offers prepaid and doesn't use SEACOM?
 
What the F man, Facebook is working but I cant seem to connect to any other int. sites??!?!!

WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE'S F#@*^#@ PRIORITIES LIE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

Ah it all seems to be working, i take that outburst back. :P
 
SEACOM circuits are back up. If there are any further problems we will notify you.

Has anyone else been experiencing very slow international speeds, every since this outage?
