I got capped, and the 40Mb or so I went over was deducted from my allocation this month.

Anyway, I find them quite acceptable! :D

Agreed, only good service and support from Afrihost so far.. Very impressed!

Their billing/bandwidth allocation have improved a lot. I upgraded my account to 10gb, got pro-rata billed for 2.5gb, I saw their system just add another 5gb which started to make me worry, if I use all 5gb will the roll-over month thing happen.

Today I logged in to find the correct bandwidth allocation, correct billing off of my account and everything. Even though it took them a day or so, which would probably have meant I could "abuse" the 5gb if I wanted.

So far so good, been a rough couple of days though, can feel some slowness, especially with remote desktop, but I think that was a problem across the board because my SAIX account didn't fare any better
 
5gb monthly bandwidth finish, so went to top up and to my surprise ... buy 1GB top up and get another 1GB free !

2GB for R29 ... WOW !!!!

It just gets better, and will hopefully stay so good.

Found it a bit to creepy having my credit card details and asking my copy of id documents was just to much ...


They could run away with it man :D (ps: I WOULD !!! )

In fact that's probably their only fault to date!!! Pretty impressive!!!

There still a few in the industry that are speculating over the sustainability of their offer...
 
Can anyone confirm how the latency is on international connections?
I'm considering moving from Cybersmart to them (either the 5gb or 3gb accounts), and generally play a few online PC games, along with PSN and XBL.

I've had the same problem and it's not impressive. My logs say I used 100 megs but my balance indicator says I used 500. :confused: Now I can't budget properly for my usage this month. This has been going on for 3 weeks and every query gets an inane answer, not addressing the query.

Wors is the cheesy final line (automated) - "don't hesitate to ask if you have further queries" or the like. That's just enfuriating because they have yet to answer my first query! :mad:
 
I've had no problems with them, but then again I check my BW balance pretty frequently, and especially after I've downloaded big files/played online.
