I just logged into my account just to see that the Uncapped account is blocked because i "abused" the AUP???
So I read the abuse letter and my account was blocked because I downloaded a damn Torrent!

I had to explain to them why I did it so they can reinstate the account after they read the explanation.

Why did I even vote them best ISP of the year??? Never again.

Did this happen to anybody else before, and do they really take this crap seriously?

I'm canceling my account with them straight away, their taking things too far now.

they are not the only ISP doing this.
 
Looks like I'll have to install Peerblock again as it was Dreamworks that reported my IP address to Internet Solutions. Looks like torrents isn't save anymore.
 
Sadly Afrihost is not to blame, they have to follow up with what the Copyright holder wants.

just use NZBs makes life so much easier, you don't have to keep looking over your shoulder.

you are not supposed to share somewhat and if you do, make sure the other users know the legalities. there was another guy on here complaining about having his account blocked cos he left his uncapped account open to the public about a year back.

Your ISP is not allowed to check what you are downloading specifically AFAIK.
