Afrihost Live Chat Unattended ?

Lol, I have waited more than 3 hours on multiple occasions. I am still waiting for a simple reply as to what it will cost to add an IP address to a solution, apparently the account manager will contact me. The agent said somewhere today, which was on Tuesday...
 
yeah its terrible, the whatsapp chat is also stupid, you get patched to someone who takes ages to reply and then cant actually help you.

It is odd that you say that they aren't able to help you. What was the issue if you don't mind me asking?

I asked the initial question of adding an additional IP to our account on Monday morning, 3 emails and a useless live chat later, the IP was allocated today, 4 days later, for something that should have taken 5 minutes.

I wonder sometimes if the higher ups in Afrihost know about the incompetence in the lower tiers of their organization and whether they just ignore it because they get money in either way

That shouldn't have taken so long. You are right it is a very quick thing to do. If you struggling again, please let me know so I can help you out.

there have been multiple, the last time your system failed to upgrade my fibre account from one package to another but it had succeeded to cancel the lesser account with vumatel but not create the new, so i then sat without service, the guy didnt even know where to begin etc

its not odd at all.. both livechat and whatsapp are useless.. On the rare occasions that you actually get a response, they take your details and you never hear back again..

yep they at best log a call which maybe gets attended 2-3 days later

Okay, I can see why you are upset here. It still seems odd they didn't help you as the procedures fix this is pretty straightforward. Has this issue been fixed?

That isn't right. If it happens again, please send me a PM with a screenshot of the chat so the number used is displayed and I will get management involved as this is not meant to happen.

P.S. Kyk hie, organaise sum free gigabytes ekse. Koppel some gratis bandwidth daa. Hack the Gibson there my bru, if they ask where is the gigabytes wys them its an accounting error ekse. You mos knows the peoples there.
