HI everyone
Ive been experiencing random disconnects daily through Afrihost here in Pretoria East. Ive reached out to @Afrigirl, I know she is on leave atm and also reached out to @AfriGuy today. I'm posting here in the hopes that someone might be able to advise whats going on.
Beginning of this week, I started to track my disconnects through a simple Chrome addon. Here are the results - Today is particularly bad. I get random disconnections that last anything from a few seconds to a couple of minutes. The internet will come back on by itself and then all is good. From below you can see how frequent they are - and some dont last very long - still disruptive though.
The frustrating part is that I'm being kicked out of work meetings and basically cant livestream due to this issue. Any online gaming is also massively impacted by this - when I dc discord will keep running for a while -I can still hear everyone talk and streaming still works and then after a minute (if the internet stays off) discord will disconnect.
Its also not something PC related because all devices are impacted by the outage -phones tv etc.
Any advice on how to fix this?
