Afrihost mobile data price cuts

Meh.

Vodacom works out cheaper than Afrihost these days. Yes you have to sign a 24 month contract, but for 3 + 3 gig you pay R169.00 wheras with Afrihost you get 3gig only for a higher price, well, 4gig now.

Sure, the other 3gig with Vodacom can only be used after midnight or something, but if you can schedule your downloads then it comes in handy.

I don't want to to be home less come month end.

Precaution..... don't want to pay your salary...I know times are bad.... Every penny saved helps to put food on the tablet. Don't want to go starving....

afriguy does it count for this month or do we get the extra data from next month on?

Does everyone get extra data. Example people who signed up for a zest phone do they get allocated more data or remains the same.

It's an immediate change, our team are pushing out the changes now so it may be a few hours before it reflects on ClientZone.

Got my extra Gig. Thanks. Now it makes sense. Was about to cancel next month.

Hilarious, would love to know how many people cancelled after the double data ended (must have been stacks). Also moved to axxess their rollover wins so not coming back to afrihost but either way afrihost and axxess are effectively the same network/company anyway just with slightly different packages.

Yup. I have no plans to move back to Afrihost for mobile data either, unless Axxess does something silly

The mobile "free data" deals were "sold at a loss" all the time, so much so that we had to stop them or charge you R100 extra. Now we are giving you extra data or effectively lower the price of that very same deals.
