While the call lengths vary drastically between the phone logs and afrihost logs the actual billed amount is closer to the phone logs, but still in afrihost's favor by a few cents. The examples I sent afrihost are:

Phone Log : 19 seconds
Afrihost Log : 33 seconds
Billed : 28c

Phone Log : 5 seconds
Afrihost Log : 34 seconds
Billed : 10c

Phone Log : 2 seconds
Afrihost Log : 32 seconds
Billed : 6c

My ticket has been replied to saying calls are logged by MTN when initiated, opposed to the phone that logs calls when answered. Also, depends on call type..... Does not help me, it may only be a few cents but still feel I am overcharged.

Mtn doesn't bill you if a call isn't answered, they also only from when the call is answered?

The anomalies here are odd, I think our team have queried this with MTN on your behalf.

This is something that's being investigated via ticket :)

No investigation was done from what I can tell, all I got was "explanations" from why this is happening from my phone log is not 100% accurate to the signal takes some time to get from the phone to the systems. This all causing rounding errors. Oddly, it is always in afrihost's favor.

There is no point in continuing the discussion with afrihost, they are showing no intention to resolve it.

Sorry about that :(
If our team haven't been able to spot any issues I fully stand behind them. If there is a resolution we can implement, I'm sure it'll be something we can do.

Sounds like a strange one :(
Drop me a PM if you're still having issues this morning and we can run through a few checks.

Afripeople for the last week I have been having 200+ ping in dota 2 it stays like that hole game.

Capture.JPG

Not a tower issue as I have 60-90ms ping in teamspeak
Capture.JPG

Dota 2 is also telling me I should have 90 ping but I don't
Capture.JPG

I know this is mobile but never had a issue like this.. While I am playing dota 2 my ping is fine to all the other local games just dota 2. So its 99% routing issue on mtn side.

So I did some test to find out what was going on

Not sure if it has been discussed before but does the MTN Wow bonus work on the Afrihost network?

I have R55 "Wow" airtime and made a call. My Afrigreen airtime ended up being used instead of the Wow. I ran my Afrigreen airtime balance to R0.00 and now I can't do anything even though I still have R55 (Wow) airtime left.

From what I understand the Wow bonuses do work, but you may need to switch to the MTN APN to use the data component of the Wow bonus.

Is the screenshot that you posted before or after you tried to use the Wow airtime?

After I tried to use it. I couldn't use the Wow airtime for anything (data, voice or SMS), the airtime has since expired obviously. When I tried to make a call it said I have insufficient airtime because my Afrigreen balance was used first instead of the Wow airtime.
