After I tried to use it. I couldn't use the Wow airtime for anything (data, voice or SMS), the airtime has since expired obviously. When I tried to make a call it said I have insufficient airtime because my Afrigreen balance was used first instead of the Wow airtime.

MTN may have rules that require you to have a positive airtime balance to make use of the WoW benefits, this is similar to how other operators do free WhatsApp etc. We don't know all the Business Rules for MTN's promos though, but they should know on their side.

I'll see if anyone knows on this side, but I would guess that it's the positive balance thing :(

Okay, let me explain what happened from the start because I don't think I'm coming across clearly.

On the 28th Feb -
1. I made a call and used R7,46 airtime. At the end of the call I had a positive Afrigreen balance and received a R55 wow bonus.
2. Made a call later that day and R9,56 was deducted from my Afrigreen balance instead of the wow balance.
3. Made another call to bring my Afrigreen balance to R0.
4. With a R0 Afrigreen balance, and R55 wow balance (Refer to screenshot in my previous post) I couldn't make a call, send an SMS or use mobile data on the Afrihost and MTN APN.

So in short, regardless of me having a zero or positive Afrigreen balance, I couldn't use the Wow airtime at all.

Edit
When does the monthly airtime get loaded onto the accounts? It's the 1st of the month and my balance is still R0.00.

Sounds like IS servers having a wobble. Might be network issue on their side :(

We don't have any rules on our side for IS servers, and we also peer directly with them, so I can't see any reason for the latency to be different :(

We'll need to raise that with MTN, becuase the WoW promo falls outside the scope of what we offer. They would be able to tell what their rules are and when the promo airtime came into effect. It's definitely worked for me in the past, so it's a tough one :(

Are you friends also testing on Mobile or using DSL connections. Do you get the same results if you use DSL?

I have tested Cellc on ISgaming Ping is normal. Vodacom ping is normal. DSL users are normal...aswell. Friends all have dsl

I know that MTN definitely peer with IS, so they would not have additional latency, unless there has been a peering issue that I am not aware of. We'll need to troubleshoot further on that :(

Just joined the IS teamspeak server and ran a speed test after that left it to settle but as you can see on the speed test its 42ms and well teamspeak to ISgaming is 200+ (teamspeak ping buttom right)

Very odd the TS specifically seems to see higher latency compared to what's on your line though.
How do other servers behave?

That's a bit better.
Could be due to the way IS handles their traffic/ peering agreements.
How can we sort this out. It was never like this. Because I can't play on dota 2 server or use the teamspeaks >< I been using them so long and all of the sudden,

Like I said everybody adsl and cellc vodacom are fine

Not much we can do there I'm afraid - I'd think your best bet would be to contact the admins of the server to see what can be done from their end.
Is there a traceroute I can check to see where the latency is coming in though?

Pretty big latency spike up just before the traffic exits the MTN network here, could be how hop 12 responds though.
