This is what I get


I have to redial for about 5 -10 times before it connects

My sister is on mtn she connects 100% first time.
 
Sigh 5 min later

Can we get button to reset our own accounts :( I can call them hole bloody day if stuff like this happends
 
We are aware of these issues, to my knowledge it doesn't get any better or worse in general according to the time of the month, some users experience this at different times.
Well you definitely have a bigger sample size than I do, but the end-of-the-month correlation with my problems is pretty consistent.
 
Poor performance lately

I've been having great throughput until lately.
Speed tests were in the region of 24mb down / 15mb up.

Until about a week or so ago.
Now I'm getting around 60k.

Whats going on here ?
 
Well you definitely have a bigger sample size than I do, but the end-of-the-month correlation with my problems is pretty consistent.

Definitely not limited to month end, from our data. However, my experience is that it seems to affect the same people, so we're still working on isolating and eliminating those cases wherever we can. We have definitely reduce the number of clients affected by this dramatically since we launched.

That's a huge difference, definitely sucks :(

Could be some maintenance happening on the closest tower. Is in only in a single location or everywhere?
 
Another end of the month and another capped account that is not capped. I still have not received feedback from my ticket. WSH-266-44775

I haven't tied in different locations.
Do I just grit my teeth for a while or is there something that can be looked into ?
I am in Fish Hoek Cape town if that helps

Do I need to contact anybody to activate LTE on this sim?

I have 2 mobile accounts with Afrihost. One 1 GB and 1 6GB data sims. I would like to transfer the 6GB card to my in-laws. Is there a way that I can do this?

In terms of RICA, etc, you would need to change ownership to them. The easiest would be to downgrade and cancel your and upgrade theirs.
