Morning Mike.As it stands, we're set to review this offer at then end of January, so we should have news around it soon. I personally doubt that it will fall away for clients who already have it, but don't quote me on that.
We'll make sure to let everyone know as soon as we're ready to announce!
But don't Afrihost charge you on the 25th of the month, yeah? So am I being charged R29 tomorrow?
If I change a umber from pre paid to the dataforall do I loose the data curreny loaded on the prepaid?
Silly question, I have an LG android tablet, how do I enter the GSM codes *141*774*1# in order to give consent for MTN to share info with Afrihost on my Afrihost issued MTN sim card? Can't find any way to do this and Google indicates having to flash Android devices to do this as they aren't meant to make phone calls etc...
It's the sim card I got from Afrihost via the R1 #dataforall deal, so it's essentially a data sim isn't it?Best bet would be to run the USSD code with the SIM entered in a phone and then switch back to your tablet.
Out of interest, why would you be using Afrihost Mobile Voice in a device that doesn't support calls? Wouldn't you be better off with a data SIM only?![]()

We'll never surprise our clients with shock charges. If we decide not to carry on with #dataforall we'll definitely let everyone know and give them enough time to decide what to do with their package.![]()
Thanks, I will have to find a friend who can oblige me as I don't have a phone that can take the micro sim I need to opt in with. That should be, yes. You may still need to opt if you received a message from us requesting that you do. As AfriFella pointed out, it would probably be easiest to insert the sim card into a cellphone temporarily.

Once again near the end of the month I have NO connectivity, still have data left
I love how all the support options on weekends require internet connectivity, I can only contact them now as I was out the whole day
Another month of this and Ill be getting an MTN contract again, cant play with amateurs anymore
My bad not even live chat is on, how can you not have support available?

Join the club, been disconnected for a week now.
If you add the myMtn APN to your device, you should be able to at least access the internet (though you will need to buy an MTN data bundle).
Please log an incident, and complain bitterly, they need to sort this out, as you are not an isolated incident.
