I logged a call, they reset the port. still the same.

Telkom adsl works just fine.

Same here, am in Randburg on a 10Mbps uncapped business account
Speeds terrible this morning across the board:
latency 78ms
speed between 0.50 and 1.0Mbps

Might actually have been a problem with my hosting company. Facebook struggled to load for a while, but it resolved later in the evening.
From about 18:00 I managed to download a big Blackberry update at max line speed, so I guess it was payback for getting a Blackberry again:p

Shout if things get a bit wonky for you again tonight though.
 
ok, we are getting there :
Ping down to 9ms, speeds up to 8 Mbps using speedtest.
However, torrents are non existing and when using jDownloader to download then speeds are sitting at 2.5Mbps

Glad to hear things are normalising! We're still keeping a close eye on the current outage.
 
Speedtest good.
Http downloads good.
P2p dead.
Google services dead.
YT running at about 2.2 mbps.

AfriGuy - will you inform us when things are back to normal and when we should be seeing good results again?
