Same 200ms to Europe in Armored Warfare. WebAfrica is getting 180ms. Hopefully you guys can look into the routing when you have time, you guys must be busy with the migration atm.

Just for interest sake. Is there a way to check through a trace route? What IP would show routing through the DBN PoP (if that's a thing that would even pop up).

I'll check with the network team, they'll know more about how this particular traffic is being routed.

UPDATE: The team says this is how Durban is routing at the moment to reach international. We'll be looking at ways to timprove on that. the destination latency is still in acceptable range for gaming though.

Examples of sites that load extremely slowly or not at all. Line usage is at around 500kbit/s. International streaming on a site I use runs at full speed though which is weird. Only browsing is affected.

Tried in both Chrome and FF.

EDIT: Restarted router, all sites work fine. Weird.

Yeah, I'm also not a fan of Durban routing atm. Afrihost is currently one of the highest to the EU :erm:
