maybe in general but not in my experience :(

I'm sure that's something that will change though :)
There will be teething issues, I think that's par for the course. Things are already awesome, they're only getting awesome-er-er.

i have generally had bad experiences with AH to be honest, everytime you guys have some operation of this sort.

dont get me wrong you are helpful, but maybe it is time i pay for my service somewhere else.

Can fully understand where you're coming from.
We've basically turned over a new forest here though, so there's definitely a lot of positives to look forward to.

Afriguy, I told you and Afriman my honest opinion in a pm of what needs to be done. Bring back what you guys had when you initially started out, because irrespective of system and infrastructure issues, hard work, honesty and loyalty will always ensure that people stay on board. I've read all the negativity, but I'm a potential future customer. Actually I'm already a mobile customer, but if you guys are open and transparent, then the guys I'm sure would appreciate that. Will say it again, every single ISP have issues, non are perfect no matter what anybody says.

This is exactly what we're working towards, but it's something that takes time.

Great stuff Afriguy, and I'm looking forward to that which we discussed. But for now, I'm just waiting patiently.

Heya guys

Just a quick update on the drops/ disconnects we've seen this even.
Looks like we've spotted the problem, so should be sorted now. If you guys do see anything else please do let us know :)

Trying to download a 500meg file from microsoft.com and chrome says 3 hours on a 4meg line. Cant work like this sadly...

That's far too slow :(
Is it just downloads from that site that's slow, or is it across the board?

it seems the same still to be honest, trying to download unisa stuff here and it is timing out

Well paying over R1800 for an 20mbps business account that performs like this for months and months now :(

And I keep sticking with you guys...

My other ISP test accounts work fine.

Any connection drops on your end?
Would you be able to test an FTP download for me? Maybe a Linux distro?

Having recently upgraded to 40mbps VDSL, to get 1mbps downloads across the board, doesn't leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. I really don't want to jump ship. But this is getting tiresome.
