Hi!
From what I can see on those traceroutes, it looks like your Exchange isn't configured to respond to ICMP requests from pings or traceroutes. This isn't anything that you should have to worry about, it won't affect your connection in any way.![]()
We are on 4mb business account and are really having a hard time with our network today. Emails are not coming through and website like Asana is dreadfully slow or not loading at all. Is this a Afrihost/MTN issue?
Hi there. I have spent the better part of the last 15 mins to try and connect to speedtest to no avail.

No unfortunately we dont. I am trying to see if I can source a second account but I cant even connect to any other ISP sites. Only site that is really working for me at the moment is this one, barely.

Hi Afriman, I seem to have the same issues, DNS errors, timeouts, (ping above 65 ,Prob ASSIA I know....), it was running on fast path no problems for a week and last night my line resycned @ 5120Kbps have tried to explain to Telkom support that I'm to far from the exchange and that 5120Kbps will become very unstable and cause major issues, but none the less. I did a tracert and speed test, see below

The ping is a bit borderline, but the throughput for a 4Mbps line isn't too bad.
Is your line dropping a lot?
wel its synced @5mb, and the down rate is about the same as a 4mb (420Kbps) so Its a waste really. It has Not dropped yet, as it only changed over this morning when I rebooted my router, I'm constantly checking my routers stats as my Line SNR is @ 11.8db, I know it wil drop soon because I had to Force ADSL G_Dmt on my line as ADSL2+ was unstable and could only sync @ 2mb with packetloss, see below in-depth line stats

Hey, anyone having connection issues this morning? Disconnected about an hour or so ago and still hasn't come back. All lights are on but I don't seem to be getting the final connection to AH. Not sure if this is related to the DNS issues they've been having?
