While it does feel like it (I'm not a morning person), we swap shifts around, so I'm on early this week and next. 7am - 4pm.
I'm getting more coffee, ask me more questions in 10 mins after I've consumed enough caffeine to be human :p

:D the only issue I have seems like congestion from 6pm to 00:00
 
I think you are missing the point, capped users got free data, capped users got nothing, and we never do. So why is this the case, simple question?

According to the email, Afrihost has been increasing their capacity. This has zero impact on capped users. The real winners from the increase are uncapped users.

Did you manage to grab any speedtests when you see the slow downs?

i normally struggle with my numbers, so 1 minute is normally like 10 minutes to me lol :D

yeh the speed test was at 6.7mbps during those times

Have Telkom confirmed the issues are resolved in your area though?

I'm going to re log this incident with them, as during the day it's fine, and after 00:00 it's fine. It's only once we hit around 6pm onwards its hurting me.

The speed tests and Latency is fine, so it's really strange. Only thing I haven't done is check another ISP to rule out that, but I doubt it's that as for most of the day it's fine

If the test data shows no issues it'll be quite hard to track down. I'd recommend running a constant ping, or continuous testing during the times you're affecting to properly nail down where the issues are coming in :)

Just a quick heads up for those in the Southern Suburbs in CPT, Clareinch seems to be acting up again :( Seeing a few queries on our end, Telkom techs are attending to the issues though.
Issues include intermittent connectivity, reduced throughput/ sync profiles and no service at times. Seems to be ongoing for some time.

Affected areas include:

021 671, 683 & 674.

Telkom techs are attending to the problem.

Cool thought i was hallucinating last night. Started from 20:00 onwards for and evetually called it a night.
 
I'm not at home to check but will pm you my deets now. This was just after 8pm last night i switched of just before 10pm

No stress, I'll still be able to see the logs from last night/ today.
I'll reply to your PM in a bit.
