Could be a cabling issue in the area?
Having the voice line will have a direct, and very negative affect, on your DSL line.

You know that, and I know that, but try telling Telkom that :(

This is the bad feeling I had when I asked them to move my line to the wholesale holding pool. Mother cluckers :( knew they would somehow mess it up

The voice line won't go down when you're line's in the holding pool though. Happy to double check though, PM me your line number.
I'd still recommend logging a voice line fault to get that checked out.

Maybe they just sent you the wrong SMS, and they're dispatching a tech to investigate the downed line.

I am hoping so, but if they have cancelled my line then im going to be seriously angry. I stated in caps to their retention department when i asked to have the line moved DO NOT CANCEL this line. And if they have done this, then im going to hunt that idiot down :D

Why is my Upload Sync beening Half speed??

This is what I had for 2 days!!! Since my ADSL was DEAD for first 11 days of this month..

its ASSIA m8 :(, I'm having the same issue, except my downstream has gone down. rebooting does not help. Everyday my line speed drops and SNR goes up. Can't get rid of this damn system!!!!!!:mad:

I am wondering if this is the problem i am having with my internet testing at high speeds but delivering slow streaming and downloading:

"Interleaved on the ASSIA system. Its the safest,most stable way to insure connection. Problem is it drops ADSL speeds by 40-50%!"

It depends on the source.

What is the source?
 
This Interleaved ASSIA thing is bull****!!!

Why does my Friend with the Same type of Account as me and also same router and showing very close the same connections STATS on router..

His Upload or Download sync never goes down!!!
But mind was clearly working for 2 day perfect and now they Limit my Upload sync to 256kbps..
and that cause also double latency on first hop after router..
