Genie any further updates on my mobile issue? :)

Sorry for the radio-silence, the Dev Team and I are just digging through the records trying to find out what happened on the date that you signed-up for the Voice package. I should have an update a bit later today.
 
Hmmm, we're not seeing anything similar on our side, if you PM me your account details I can check what caused the disconnections.

Doing a factory restore on the router sorted the issue out, I would never have suspected that and would have just bought another router had you not told me to try that. Thank you so much ! :D You made my week.

okey :) pretty sure its got to do with my sim. I was already provisioned on my existing sim in question, so something must have gone wrong, probably my mistake. I was one of the people who received the email to take up the early offer and get the additional 10GB data. I just went for the XS bundle, as i already get 500MB's on the sim, so no need to go big. Like i said Genie, its no biggie, but thought i would let you guys know. Ive missed out in any case on that offer, :( :D

That is probably what happened, but we should at least be able to see what happened, it could be that the system generated an error message before you could even have completed the sign-up.

Didnt see any error message to be honest. When i moved over, i had my sim provisioned to be used on the AH network. That was a Long time before these deals came out. So thats the confusing bit. Would be surprised if i had to have a completely new sim when i signed up, rather than use my existing sim
 
Am I the only one waiting in anticipation, to see what Afrihost pull out of the hat, with the latest IPC Price Cuts?

Well according to the post yesterday, capacity is their first order of business :)

I think over the past 12 months we've realized that price-point should not come at the cost of performance and stability. Our Client-base has been growing quite steadily, so our number 1 priority is making sure that our network can handle the increased numbers.

Then, once we've achieved that, who knows what could happen. ;)

Mystery Data does seem to be particularly popular... For the life of me I'm not sure why... ;)

Can you get Telkom to upgrade the lines? I'm still stuck on 10Mbps. I'll be very happy then, I have no problem with current price then ;)
Mystery data is always lovely, with your roll-over and midnight data it's getting difficult to run out of data, think I am still at 170GB for the month on a 150GB cap.

I really wish I could get Telkom to upgrade the infrastructure in your area. :( It seems Telkom has their own plan and time frame in place.

Yeah, waiting on frogfoot to roll out here, the municipality is just acting up with wayleaves and stuff and not allowing micro-trenching until there's a feasability test done for it. Check out the table view fiber thread.

Genie whats the likely outcome if i had to re sign up for the mobile deal? Would i miss out on the 10GB data? Im assuming there was a time frame to qualify
