fuk, telkom needs to replace another backbone cable, this time its the cable feeding my entire street...tech just phoned me now, they ordered a new cable, but no ETA on when the cable will be here.

Not sounding great, hopefully the cable arrives and is installed quickly

stupid question, but does your stats allow you to go 10mb?, maybe you running on a old DSLAM which only supports 4mb, just a guess

Yup the modem is syncing at 10 MB but actual speeds I'm not getting anything over 4 MB, between AH and Telkom's discussions they think there's some issue at the exchange.

But if I'm picky - anything from Devils Peak Brewery. As the years have gone on I've tried sticking to the ol' Castle Lite during the week to keep the boep under control.
