Afrihost didn't send me any notification to alert me that one of my email domains has reached capacity. I've lost over 2 days of emails thanks to this. Even more annoying is that I have looked everywhere and don't see an option to delete stored emails automatically after a few days, so these stupid email accounts require exhaustive maintenance.

I think I'll be moving my hosting accounts from Afrihost over to Elitehost soon. This is too much for me.

Very sorry to hear this :(
Have you contacted our team to see if any mail can be salvaged from our firewalls to re-send through to you?

It's probably easiest to set your mail client to delete mails off the server after x days.

I'm assuming you aren't using Outlook as your default mail program?. I know outlook has a option to delete mails after 14 days by default from your server, you can even set it to delete the mail on your server, when delete it from your deleted items.

Live chat isn't available, as usual. I'd rather just move away and be done with all these issues. Outlook is configured correctly, and set to autodelete messages after 7 days and delete from server when I delete in the client. Doesn't seem to do anything though. The messages remain forever. I have no issues with my other domains not hosted with Afrihost.

See above. I am using Outlook.

Really not sure why the mails haven't been removed - has the diskspace been confirmed as stored mails?
Happy to take a look for you.

It's an email domain account, so it doesn't do anything but email. Thanks for the offer but it's alright. I'm in the process of migrating. You might want to see if your hosting team can't add a simple option in the Clientzone for managing storage space of emails. It's quite possible that it also drives other people up the wall.

Sorry to hear you're wanting to move away from us.
Still happy to review why you didn't get a storage notification or why commands aren't sent through to the server - my inbox is open if you change your mind :)

Cant seem to be able to add anything to the support ticket, seems to be closed? I opened another ticket to mention this. My issue is not resolved, so it should not be closed.

Don't think the ticket's closed - does it report as closed via ClientZone?

Why do you guys automatically assign DNS with issues? What DNS should we all be using?

You will always receive the correct DNS, but we do rotate our DNS servers as we update them, it's possible that the server you were assigned had been removed from the rotation to be updated.

I noticed the other day, in KZN we get assigned 169.1.1.x not 169.1.3.x anymore. Are you guys planning on removing the 169.1.3.x range?

Not sure if you saw my post from last week?

Fully understand that there are frustrations here - can you install an app like BitMeter OS (or anything that works for you) to see what bandwidth is being demanded from Twitch?

Unfortunatly I didn't see your post from last week.

Here is the bandwidth graph with only Twitch and no other traffic on the network.

We figured how to have each region's important CDNs and Caches without having to implement a separate range for each region. :)

At some point we may re-use those specific DNS servers, but they aren't necessary at the moment.
