Why other accounts get double download speed as afrihost i postet last night a 80 mb file toke 5 min on afrihost and 2 min on webafrica
No afrihost have no problem ???
Same as every time there is a problem only later we find the truth of not having capacity

Just remember that we base our decision on feedback from our social media channels, support floor and clients we've engaged with directly to test for us in different regions. Going simply by MyBB wouldn't be representative of our entire client base at all.

I did comment on the results you've posted, they definitely don't indicate to me that the problem is on our side.

If you're happy to give us that link, we replicate your tests on our side.

That's super weird :(

Can you run a traceroute so I can see where you're being routed?

We don't shape Business. If we did ever decide to institute Business shaping, we would inform our clients first of a change to our AUP and give them fair warning of when that change would come into existence. As the product currently stands, it is not shaped. As I've said, we need to do further testing to determine why your throughput was underperforming at that time :(
As an outsider to this problem, my question would be : What was shaped on the AH network during that time ?

You know the help in this forum is pointless. There is a problem fix it, you deny it continually, and make out as if the client is making things up. I would prefer to actually do my work, rather than spend time doing pointless tests and posting here.

As an outsider to this problem, my question would be : What was shaped on the AH network during that time ?

As I mentioned, shaping on Uncapped is dynamic, so it depends on overall demand, not at set times like 8pm to 10pm. But my understanding is that we are doing very little shaping at the moment as we have provisioned capacity on the new network to ensure that we have enough for the move over and for the foreseeable future.

That is very unfair. We help many clients with problems and we've had lots of success in identifying problems through engagement on these forums. But ultimately, you've been reporting a consistent bad experience since MTN, through AfriGreen and up to the new network. Just to be clear, AfriGreen was a concept network installation, the new iteration of that concept uses a different IPC and network kit, so these can effectively be viewed as three separate ISP networks. I think it is fair to speculate whether the consistent poor experience you are having may be due to other factors which have remained common throughout this, like your local network, line or exchange.

This might have something to do with the recent DNS issues?

Its not an issue on my side, and when you accept that then we can get things fixed. You previously blamed the exchange I organised a trial account at a different isp, and everything was 100%, log onto Afrihost nothing works, this was all reported to Critical Care at the time. I eventually called Telkom, and there was no issue, they cam to my house no issue. Only when connect I to Afrihost. I am also not the only one on these forums posting about the same issues, and we are also not all living in the same areas.

There have been days when things have worked 100%, but there is a consistency issue, and these forums are full of people with the same issues.

Why have a poc network, that initially worked like a charm, and then move to a different system for the final version? Afrigreen fell on its knees at the end, and the new network is no better.

Please explain how you have tried to help me with my current issue?

I don't think we want to point the blame to anything, but simply looking at the facts here - something simply isn't lining up.
As AfriMan said before, you've been across multiple networks that use different upstream providers, as well as having been with our Critical Care team multiple times in the past.

None of these instances of intense troubleshooting has shown a fault on our network.

I think going forward, take a snapshot of your setup and run an initial set of tests, preferably via a script for consistency. Create a ticket with that info so it can be properly tracked and analysed.

I only have an issue if I use the Afrihost network, simple fact.

Sorry, your network had issues when there was a recent Apple operating system update, there were IPC issues which affected the south and east regions, there was some hardware or software configuration issues on your network, you still got external support on that one, your afrigreen network worked and then supposedly you over stressed it for testing purposes. In all these cases the users were told the network has no issues.

Not sure if you read my full post?
I understand what you're saying, but it's been a constant report across the MTN network, Afrigreen and now on production Afrigreen.
So as I said in my last post, you need to create a set of test results that our team can investigate via a Support ticket so it can be tracked correctly.

Honestly, that's the only way I see this as being resolved, as all previous resources have been exhausted here.

Then why am I not the only 1 on this forum with issues?

You know my last dealing with Critical Care was fruitless, I complained about streaming on Superport, I even gave them my log on details, they admitted that there were issues, but nothing was done about it. I then log on with my free Webafrica account that I had, with no other change in my side, and streaming works 2100% full screen no lag. Simple fact is its not an issue on my side.

Then there was some article posted about how Supersport were no allowing Afrihost to connect the same ways as other isps, and this was limiting the speed, which was later disputed.

When we have issue we get asked to post tracert results in these forums, and that's what I did, what did it help? I have had no one tell me try this try that, we will reset your port, test this etc, nothing.

Each query brought up here is investigated and resolved accordingly. The Superspot article is ancient, and again - I really don't see this as working towards a resolution though, and quite honestly, is only going to take us around in circles.

Please take a read through my first post, I've provided a way for us to work forward on this, together.

EDIT: I'll PM you a batch of tests and info to submit to our team. Check your inbox in 10 mins or so.
