Having recently upgraded to 40mbps VDSL, to get 1mbps downloads across the board, doesn't leave me with a warm fuzzy feeling. I really don't want to jump ship. But this is getting tiresome.

I also wouldn't be happy with that :(
Happy to troubleshoot though, I'm sure we can get to the bottom of this.

Any tests you've been running?

Well paying over R1800 for an 20mbps business account that performs like this for months and months now :(

And I keep sticking with you guys...

My other ISP test accounts work fine.

That's horrible for your line speed :(
I've like to get a closer look at this - could you drop me a PM with the DSL username you're using please?

test 4.jpg

10mb line speed test only gives me 2.5mb then i started the download to check

It isn't all bad. Still enjoying a perfect network experience, especially YouTube. :)

So, I'm not the only one with this issue

Continuous connection dropping still.

Switched to my free web africa account for now.

I'm also getting constant connection drops. Extremely frustrating.

Speeds were horrible last night. I eventually fell asleep waiting for Youtube to buffer 360p content.
Come this morning, and speeds are still pretty crappy.

Hi afriman. I heard that static IP's will be able to be set up via pppoe instead of L2TP on the new network. Which would make it quite a bit easier for all of us.
Is this true? If so, when would it be implemented?

Also had some slower speeds last night and intervals of zero throughput.
Router doesn't show a disconnect though, there's simply no data throughput.
