Hi AfriMan

My streaming audio was buffering.

Browsing and such were perfect... but the audio stream had me check the speedtest.

Then I checked in here... saw a couple of other reports... then I posted.

Which audio streaming service were you using? Is it an international or local-based service?
 
Twitch runs really smoothly at 3AM, I was even able to stream at source quality. Could we please have that performance 24/7

At what quality are you running Twitch.tv now? What speed is your ADSL line running at?
 
I've seen a buttload of traceroutes posted on myBB showing timeouts on the second hop. Just out of interest, what does that mean?

Telkom has recently started rolling out upgraded Exchanges, that no longer respond to ICMP traffic, which basically means that the Exchange does not reply to a traceroute or ping request.

Does however respond to 155.239.255.250
 
Hey AfriGenie, can you give any advice on how to increase PSN downloads. Surely 3mbps-4mbps from PSN is not great? This applys to all things from game downloads, patch downloads etc. Seems to be the same on Google's Play Store as well. App updates crawl. 40bmbps VDSL should be flying surely.

You shouldn't be seeing any slow downloads at the moment, are you on a Capped, Uncapped or Business Uncapped account?

Just to clarify, are you getting 3 to 4MBps or 3 to 4Mbps?

I am on a capped 100+100 account.

Getting between 3Mbps to 4Mbps at the moment trying to update the Witcher 3. Pausing the download then, restarting I see a brief 10-20Mbps increase in speed, but then settles back to 3-4Mbps.
